GIA Publications, Inc. is seeking a Technology Assistant. This hybrid position (with occasional onsite work at our Chicagoland offices in Bedford Park and Oak Park, Illinois) is hands-on operational role, responsible for assisting with the daily health of GIA's technology environment and providing responsive technical support to both customers (through GIA’s in-house Customer Service team) and internal staff.
This position works closely with GIA’s Technology Strategist and serves as a critical first line of support — keeping systems running, resolving issues efficiently, maintaining data quality, and contributing practical insight to ongoing improvement efforts.
If you have curiosity and willingness to learn; a calm, patient approach to support work; are collaborative by nature and proactive in finding answers and asking deeper questions, you are likely to be successful in this role!
This is a great opportunity for a technically capable, organized individual who enjoys variety in their work — one day resolving a customer-facing website issue, the next cleaning up a database table or helping spec out a new feature.
